Calgary South Real Estate

Calgary South Real Estate Quadrant is comprised of a large portion of the city’s landscape.

South Calgary was established in 1914, but was largely undeveloped until the 1950’s. The Greater South Calgary area consists of the communities of Marda Loop, Riverpark Altadore, Garrison Woods and South Calgary, all of which are under the care of the Marda Loop Community Association, which collectively unites the communities into a closely linked network. The shared community sense between South Calgary’s adjacent communities makes it a friendly community and a great place for a family.

Although some of the communities in this quadrant of the city are somewhat older it does not take away from the desire and allure to living in this area. There are several trendy and sought after communities within the south. Families that are looking for a large lot or property that backs onto green space or parks will not be disappointed as there are several communities that have these features.
